Farm Parks Near Detroit

Families around Detroit have easy access to farm parks that make for a relaxed day away from the city. These spots typically offer open-air space, a slower pace, and a chance for kids to be outdoors and closer to nature. Whether you’re nearby in the city or coming in from the suburbs, a farm day out is a simple way to spend time together outside the usual routine.

Before you head out, check the farm’s own website for current opening times and any seasonal closures. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, since farmland can be muddy or uneven, and pack layers in case the weather shifts during your visit.

Distances are measured in a straight line from downtown Detroit, so allow extra time by road.
