Connecticut has plenty of farms welcoming families for a day spent outdoors with animals, open fields, and seasonal activities. Whether you’re near the coast, in the rolling countryside, or closer to the city, you’ll find farm parks and petting zoos suited to younger children and older kids alike, offering a relaxed break from screens and city life.
Before you set off, check each farm’s own website for current opening times and any activities running that day. Wear sturdy shoes or wellies, since fields can get muddy, and consider booking ahead if you’re visiting during school holidays or weekends.
This guide features a selection of farms from across Connecticut. See all 156 farm parks in Connecticut on the map.
