Ohio is home to a variety of farm parks and petting zoos, perfect for a family day out surrounded by open countryside. Whether you’re near a bustling city or tucked into a rural pocket of the state, you’ll find farms offering hands-on animal encounters, seasonal activities, and space for kids to explore and run around.
Before you head out, it’s worth checking each farm’s own website for opening times and any advance booking requirements, especially during school holidays. Wearing sturdy shoes or wellies is a good idea, since much of the ground can be muddy or uneven.
This guide features a selection of farms from across Ohio. See all 218 farm parks in Ohio on the map.
