Missouri offers families a good mix of farm parks and petting zoos, spread across both country roads and areas closer to the cities. These outings are a simple way to get outdoors, see animals up close, and enjoy some fresh air together, whether you’re planning a weekend trip or a spontaneous day away from the usual routine.
Before you set off, check the farm’s own website for opening times, as these can change with the seasons. Wear wellies or sturdy shoes, since ground can get muddy, and bring layers in case the weather shifts during your visit.
This guide features a selection of farms from across Missouri. See all 109 farm parks in Missouri on the map.
