Somerset’s countryside is home to a range of farm parks and petting farms, offering a relaxed day out for families across the region. Whether you’re near the Levels, the coast or closer to the hills, you’ll find options suited to younger children and those after a slower-paced outdoor visit.
Before you head off, it’s worth checking each farm’s own website for opening times and any advance booking needs, especially during school holidays. Wellies and weather-appropriate clothing are always a sensible idea, as much of the day is likely to be spent outdoors.
