Oregon offers plenty of options for a family day out on a working farm. From the valleys to the coast, you’ll find farm parks and petting zoos where kids can wander through open fields, meet friendly animals, and enjoy fresh country air. Whether you’re near the city or exploring more rural parts of the state, there’s likely a farm experience nearby suited to little ones and grown-ups alike.
Before you head out, check the farm’s own website for current opening times and any booking requirements, especially during school holidays. Dress for the weather and bring sturdy shoes or wellies, as farmyards can be muddy underfoot.
This guide features a selection of farms from across Oregon. See all 43 farm parks in Oregon on the map.
